Feel the quiet library as you sit in your favorite overstuffed chair with your feet on the ottoman; almost asleep with an open book in your lap.
The challenge in this painting was to capture the different textures in watercolor: ceramic candle sticks, the flame and smoke, vase, wood and wall.
My print experience is positive, on both Picture Rag paper or canvas which I love - no glass, no reflections. My watercolor technique looks wonderful on canvas; either glossy finish, it looks like an oil painting or a canvas matte finish, no surface shine.
